Fulfillment and Delivery
Champagne & Gifts Company use DHL as a courier service providing a tracking service once your order has been despatched. DHL will send you a confirmation email with instructions on how to track your order. You must select your delivery preference during the ordering process and the cost will be automatically added to your bill. Delivery dates can be requested which Champagne & Gifts Company will endeavour to meet however delivery on this date cannot be guaranteed.
Our working week is Monday to Friday however a Saturday Morning delivery is available if required. This may be selected during the ordering process. There is an additional charge for this service.
Our Standard Delivery means your goods will arrive within 5 working days between 9am and 5pm on a weekday at a cost of £3.95. Our Next Working Delivery means your goods will arrive the next working day between 9am and 5pm however orders must be placed before 13:00 hours the previous day. Please note that this is only available for a single bottle of Champagne or Champagne with a fresh rose and/ or chocolates. The cost of this is £7.95. Same Day Delivery is unavailable as the cost is prohibitive. For other delivery requests, please contact us directly where we can discuss your requirements. See ‘Contact Us’ page for more details.
A delivery instructions box has also been included providing the option to leave the goods with a neighbour or at an appropriate address if you are likely to be out at time of delivery. You may also provide a telephone number that a delivery driver can call to receive instructions on the day. Please note any arrangements that you make to leave the goods at an address other than specified on the order, deems you liable if the goods are lost, damaged or stolen. Refunds will not be given in these circumstances.
As a security measure the goods must be signed for on collection. If alcohol has been purchased, a person of the age of 18 or over must sign for the goods. If there is any doubt over the age of the person signing, identification may be requested. It is your responsibility to ensure a person of appropriate age is available to receive the goods.
If you are out when the goods are delivered a card will be left through your door advising you that an attempt has been made to deliver your goods. This card will advise you either when re-delivery will take place or where you can collect the goods from a local DHL depot.
Incorrect delivery details supplied by the Customer are the Customer’s responsibility. An additional carriage fee may be included if the items need redelivering to a new address.
Champagne & Gifts Company are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, expenses or failure or delay during delivery, nor does such occurrence permit the Customer to refuse to accept delivery or repudiate the contract.
