A superb gift from the Hambledon Vinyard who are recognised internationally for their superb quality and great flavours. English sparkling is very "current" and we're delighted to champion these superb wines. Well established, this Hampshire estate was home to England’s first commercial vineyard, back in the 1950s.
Like the best English sparkling wines, Hambledon uses only the classic grapes grown in the Champagne region – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Tasting Notes
A complex, well structured sparkling wine - nose is
rich and warm exuding Seville orange and brioche aromas, with hints of dried flowers and toasted hazelnuts. The palate is mouthwatering with hints of dried apricot and citrus.
Première Cuvée is a blend of 58 percent Chardonnay, 18 percent Pinot Meunier and 24 percent Pinot Noir
