Henri Gourorbe is one of the most important growers in Champagne.  Thie Cuvée Tradition is a good chardonnay and pinot blend with consistency ensured year after year.

Champagne Henri  GOUTORBE is a family-owned Champagne house, situated in the renowned Grand Cru village of Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region.  Ay is considered to have the best soils for growing grapes and was rated 100%, which made it a grand cru village. Aÿ is therefore rated higher than all its immediate neighbours. Other Champagne houses that control vineyards in the village include Bollinger, Moët & Chandon, Mumm and  Perrier-Jouët,

The vineyards are predominantly south-facing and the quality of the grapes, which are harvested manually, is a result of the careful selection of the best vines.  Best soil –- best vines . . .   the Champagnes from Henri Goutorbe are exceptional.

Sommelier's opinion

How a Champagne should be. Complex nose of blossom and citrus fruit with a wood layered undernote. 
Tasting fresh green apples and a lot of brioche goodness. Good acidity and a nice mousse.
